I think this may be the prettiest bunch of babies we have ever had! So many of our girls came into season around the same time, so we have lots of little babies right now and they are just scrumptious! I want to keep every single one of them and my husband is having to reign me in! LOL
Seriously, I can’t remember a more beautiful grouping of puppies….all the moms are doing so well and it is so much fun to see how they love and adore their babies….and so instinctual….it just always amazes me to watch my babies as they mature into full grown poms and when their first litter arrives there is an instant transformation into “mama mode”. Just minutes before the only thing that could really get them going was a nice piece of roast or chicken, but suddenly…..nothing in the world exists but these babies and they are SO protective and nurturing. Watching them clean them up, break the cord, make sure that they are going “potty”, and licking them constantly to keep them moist and warm…..it truly is a miracle….how can they know what to do???? Amazing.
Well, obviously we are super busy right now and will be for the next several weeks. This is a great time to pick out a puppy…so many to choose from and really a perfect time of year, just as things start settling in for the Fall.

I can’t believe it has been a month since I’ve written anything on my blog….this whole year is just a blur. My daughter getting married in May was all consuming, but so fun and so happy for her.
And then BANG…just before the 4th, my eldest son and his wife graced us with our second granddaughter….and what a beauty and blessing she is! She is our little “firecracker”, born on July 3rd.
So life has been full and now we are looking forward to lots of little “pom” babies to be born in the next several weeks. Several of my girls will be giving birth this summer including some “newbies” so we are so excited to see all the new babies. From now through early Fall will be a very busy season for us. It has been nice to have a little break and we are looking forward now to some fun with our new ones coming.

Nothing in the world (except for maybe new granddaughters 🙂 ) brings so much joy and fun as a new little pomeranian puppy. It is hard to know until you have one….they steal your heart in ways too huge to express.

I know so many of you were very excited about Blossom and Taz’s beautiful litter. Sadly, after a long and difficult labor, only one puppy was born, and she was stillborn. Sometimes, when there is only one puppy, it can be a much more difficult labor and delivery since the puppy is usually much larger, with more space to grow in. We suspect that the baby had probably even died before birth, which made it even more difficult.
Even though things like this happen, it is still difficult when it does. Blossom is a little frantic since her body and her hormones tell her there should be a baby nursing, so it will be a difficult couple of days for her, but she will eventually bounce back and there doesn’t seem to be any reason that she can’t go on to have other successful deliveries as she has had in the past. We are so sad for her, and for all those anticipating her darling puppies.
I do have three litters due in July….two of them first time pairings and two of them are new mamas whom I still have to post on my website, so please be patient with me….I hope to have them up this week. We are so excited about these litters and expect beautiful, happy babies.
I have a new granddaughter due to be born around the 4th of July, so we are joyfully preparing for that as well…so much new life and so exciting! 🙂

Well this has been a whirlwind of a week….we have delivered two beautiful litters of pups, married our precious daughter, celebrated Mother’s Day with all four of our children and families and said good bye to so many loved ones that we rarely get to see….such incredible fun…so many blessings….but soooo tired! 🙂

Now comes the not so fun part….cleaning up weeks of tossing clothes….just not the right outfit, right?! ….putting off cleaning (definitely other priorities, lol)…..mowing and weed-eating….who has time for that when your daughter is getting married?!….losing all the weight that you just put on from all the parties and incredible food…:( Grooming dogs whose hair has suddenly grown an inch and on top of that…they have had SO much fun running through the new grass and stickers! Fun, fun getting all those out! ….unpacking….putting away…crying over memories….looking at photos…taking care of new babies and moms…the list goes on….. I’m also currently looking for the best singapore trash bin for me and my dogs’ trash.

Having said all that…it is good to be home and getting back to “normalcy” again if there is such a thing…I am looking forward to spending these last two weeks with my older babies and preparing them for their new homes, and my newest babies are just adorable….such a fun cycle of life. I also have a couple of new moms due in June so we are getting those mamas ready too…
