I hope everyone’s holiday weekend was great and I hope you are all settling in to the Fall and looking forward to some cooler weather like we are!
We are reducing the prices on our three boys left from Heidi’s litter. They are such gorgeous boys and need to find a home because they are really making themselves at home here and it will be very difficult for us to see them go! This is a great price for these boys….they have very nice pedigrees and come from some wonderful lines and lots of color. You won’t find sweeter poms anywhere…
Let me know if you have any questions…..have a super day!

RAMBO HAS FOUND A HOME
August 29, 2008
Our darling little Rambo has found his home. He will be living in Houston with Linda and we know he will be completey spoiled! She came for another dog, but fell in love with Rambo!
We will miss him terribly, and so will his beautiful brothers….he was so much fun and so full of life and always so happy. But we are excited to know he will be so loved.
BOYS OR GIRLS?
August 25, 2008
I have had so many people asking me about whether males or females make better pets, so I decided to write briefly about it.
There are definitely pros & cons to each, so it is always an individual decision.
The biggest complaint I often hear about boys is that they like to “mark” and have a hard time potty training. This can be true, however, if properly nuetered at the right time, this tendency is greatly improved and they can be trained just as well as the females. In the long run, there are great advantages to owning a male….they tend to be less moody, usually much more affectionate, and the biggest advantage of all is that they do not “blow” their coats as often as the females. Of course the males, (just like every other species, except for humans, of course…”grin”) are usually the prettiest and have the nicest coats. They will still shed some, and lose some of their coat once a year or so, but not nearly as much as the females do. All in all, they make extraordinary pets and incredibly loyal companions, and my boys stay happy all the time! (Just love ’em and feed ’em and they are happy! mmm, sounds familiar doesn’t it?!)
Now for the girls….the biggest complaint about girls is losing their coat once or twice a year and dealing with their cyles….however, this can be greatly improved by spaying as it is related to hormonal cycles. They also tend to be a little “bossy” and “independent”, and somewhat “moody” in my experience (wow…I’m realizing we girls are the same everywhere! “grin”)….however…….having said all that, there is just something about the girls, well, we’re just irresistible, don’t you think?!
Bottom line is that both genders come with their own particulars, but truthfully pomeranians have personalities that completely steal your heart….each one is individual and unique, and you wouldn’t trade them for anything in the world. (And it is truly hard to own just one! “grin”)
DAKOTA IS WITH HER NEW FAMILY
August 18, 2008
Dakota has successfully landed in North Carolina and her new mom just called to say she was fine. It is always sad to leave them at the airport…but so nice to get that call, knowing that they are in safe hands now.
She will get all the attention and love she deserves and we are so excited about that. I wish I could keep them all….but my husband already puts up with a lot! “grin”
Heidi’s pups are getting cuter by the day….so playful and full of life and energy. They love to explore EVERYTHING! It reminds me of the days when my children were toddlers….always into everything and wanting to experiment with everything that they came into contact with. _It doesn’t change much when they are teenagers…..they just explore bigger things!_ “grin” At least that is my experience with boys! The toys just get bigger! “grin”
If you are looking for a loving, fun, and energetic companion, loyal to the end, then poms are perfect for you….they are such a special breed. Many of the families who adopt my poms already own or have owned a pom. That is such a testimony to the breed….
Raised in the right environment and properly socialized, they will be life long irreplaceable companions.
