What an incredibly busy season this has been. We have had so many beautiful babies and so much fun. Our babies are quickly approaching the age where they will be leaving us. They are SO happy and have so much fun together. I know they will miss all of their “play buddies”, but they will be bonding with their new owners and having a good time there too.
We only have a few available babies left…I will be posting Gwen’s last available baby tonight. She had three gorgeous babies, but they sold before I could even get them posted. I will probably post the pictures anyway so everyone can see how cute they are. I had intended to keep her smallest little girl, but she is just going to be too tiny, so I have decided to let her go. She is so cute and has a little button nose which gives her the sweetest expression. Beautiful show quality girl.
We will be breeding 3 or 4 of our females this summer with hopes of some really special babies in the Fall, including some brand new mamas. I will have their pictures on the “our gals” page soon. I will be updating the website once I feel like the breedings have been successful.
I hope everyone is enjoying Spring. We are getting some much needed rain and my tomatoes are so happy!
Please feel free to call or email anytime if you have questions about any of our puppies or if you would like to be on my updates and notification list.
BABIES ARE GROWING
SPRING HAS SPRUNG
April 9, 2009
I’m not sure about a lot of areas in the country, but Spring has definitely arrived in Texas! It is 85 degrees here today and HOT! It is hard to believe that it was 33 degrees on Tuesday! But that is Texas for you!
The bluebonnets are carpeting the fields and everytime I see them it still takes my breath away. Soon the other wildflowers will join them in the most stunning array of color….I just love this time of year. From now until June there will be a crescendo of color from different varieties of wildflowers every week and such a beautiful display of God’s handiwork.
We saw our first hummingbird last week, the pecan trees are budding and the bees are buzzing! All of these a confirmation that the woods are alive and Spring is here.
Our puppies are getting cuter by the day and so playful and sweet! This is the age where I am so torn about them leaving….I love their sweet adventurous spirits but their endless energy is very tiring too! “grin”
This is the perfect time of year to add a new member to the family….so easy to train outdoors and have lots of time to play outside. These are the last of our Spring litters and though busy, we have had lots of fun with all of our babies this year. We will be breeding again in the summer for some cute little Fall furballs. I will try to keep the “upcoming litters” page updated.
Hope you enjoy a beautiful weekend….
GWEN’S BABIES ARE HERE
March 16, 2009
Our sweet little Gwennie FINALLY went into labor yesterday after a week of false alarms. She had three of the prettiest little cream/white babies I have ever seen. Mom and babies are doing great.
Baby #1: female 4 1/4 oz.
Baby #2: female 2 7/8 oz.
Baby #3: male 5 1/4 oz.
I will post pictures soon.
GWEN IS GETTING CLOSE
March 11, 2009
Our sweet little Gwennie is getting very close to delivering our last litter for this Spring season. She is due tomorrow and starting to show some signs of nesting tonight. I will try to post news as soon as her babies arrive. We are hoping to have some very beautiful creams, and maybe some partis or tris. We don’t know what to expect as this is a first time pairing for these two.
Hopefully we will have babies by tomorrow night….keep checking back!
