This has been an incredibly busy week with many sleepless nights! But, ahhhh, the joys of being a Pom Mom. We had three litters born within a 24 hour period and between my husband and I we felt like we were running a maternity ward!

I always get super nervous with the moms in labor but a triple just about did me in! LOL
Frequently the females will come into season around the same time, so it is not unusual to have two or three due within a few weeks, but this was a first for us! One was late and the other two were early, and the moon must have been shining just right because as I was dealing with Leila and in the middle of birthing, he announces that BB and Priscilla are acting “strange”! Well, those are the telling words, and within minutes BB was in her whelping box and within 15 minutes had delivered her first baby! It was extremely stressful as then Priscilla began nesting in her whelping box and continued through the night as Leila and BB finished up with theirs….I can truly look back and laugh now….whew, what a night! But I can tell you….it was nerve wrecking and I am just so glad all babies are here and moms are doing fantastic! Absolutely gorgeous bunch of newbies and I can’t wait to share photos this week. Everyone is resting and bonding this weekend, but I’ll get photos and information up this week.
Thanks to all of you who follow my website and have sent such sweet and encouraging words for all my new babies….I really appreciate it SO much!

I want to wish all those Fathers out there a very special day.
It is tough to be a Dad these days with lots of responsibility and hard work. We appreciate you!

Our beautiful girl, Baylee, was due to have her litter on Father’s Day, but decided to have them early. She had a gorgeous litter of pups this week on Wednesday. I will be sending out an announcement with a litter picture tomorrow and hopefully get individual pics up sometime this week. Mom and babies are all doing well. It is a rainbow of colors and one of the prettiest litters she has had.

Well happy Summer! We feel like it is already August here in Texas as it is so hot (more typical of late summer) and we are experiencing one of the worst droughts in history.
Thank goodness for air conditioning! 🙂

My heart goes out to those in the upper states who don’t always have air conditioning to manage this kind of heat…..of course not without a price….the electric and gas bills will be soaring! 🙁

I can take the heat, but it does make me sad to see so much of the forest in such distress for lack of water and the wildlife is really hurting as well. I hope rain comes soon….everything is SO thirsty!

We are winding up our Spring litters and getting ready for some new births this month, so we have reduced prices on the last little boys we still have from Spring. These boys are all amazing and will make fantastic and very beautiful companions. We need to make room for all of our new little ones, so this is a great opportunity to add a new little ball of fluff and wonder to your home. Our testimonial page gives a sampling of how much our little poms are loved once they leave us, and we are so grateful to hear from everyone. I know we are prejudiced, but Poms are, HANDS DOWN, the best breed around for constant, unconditional love and affection and if you love to laugh, you will love a pomeranian!
