Well, I wish I could say how much I am enjoying the nice Fall weather here, but for whatever reason, the heat is staying with us this year….supposed to be in the 90’s today….again!  🙁

However, I will say I’ll take the 90’s anyday over 100 degree temps, so I really shouldn’t complain.  The Fall colors are starting to come out.  LOL  Yes, here in Texas we do get some Fall color in the form of goldenrod, broomweed, sunflowers, trees turning a little orange on the edges before they turn brown, and I guess you have to count the miraculous sunsets too…..we’ll take what we can get. 🙂

We have one beautiful little golden boy (appropriate color for the season!) left available from our current litters.  He is going to be a little bigger boy….really nice for families with kids or other dogs.  Gorgeous little guy and turning out very sweet.  Such a nice color too.

We are excited about new litters coming in November. Moms are just starting to put a little weight on and they are loving the extra attention.  We are hoping to have a lot of variety in color which will be fun.  Just as a reminder….if you are hopeful for a specific color or gender, I do have a waiting list so just let me know if you want to be added to that list.  Those on the waiting list will be given first priority on their specific choice.

Hope you are all getting ready for a great holiday season.  Thanksgiving is my favorite time of the year and I’m already planning the menu!  You can tell what takes priority in my brain….LOL

This is the hardest time of the year for us here in Texas.  We have endured the heat and the humidity all summer and at times you feel you cannot endure one more minute.  It has been a reasonable summer as far as the heat goes, but even so….about now I long for a breeze of really cool air.  It should be anytime now….we almost always get a little hint of Fall in the 2nd or 3rd week of September….just enough to give you hope and then it turns hot again until October/November.  But at least it spurs you on to think Fall really will come!

We have two new litters on the ground and believe it or not only one little boy left to find a new home.  All of our babies are doing well and moms are loving their new babies.   Watching the moms as they grow and mature with each new litter is such a privilege and I’m always learning new things!

We are in the process of breeding several of our moms for Late Fall/Early Winter deliveries…great diversity in color which is always fun. I will be posting the upcoming litters as soon as I’m sure which ones have taken.

Just as a reminder….I have started waiting lists for specific color/sex combinations, so if you are hoping for something in particular let me know and I will get you on the list.

Hope you all have had an amazing Summer and are gearing up and getting back to “normal”, whatever that is!  LOL

We finally have babies here again!  🙂  This has been a long stretch with no little ones and we were missing them!  LOL  But, Topaz just delivered three perfect little pups in the wee hours of the morning.  They were all very fat and healthy and seem to be doing well.

The last few weeks have been a whirlwind for us with the birth of a new grand baby, the marriange of our second born son, and the news of a new grandbaby on the way!  I truly love babies and I love human babies (specifically my grand babies) even more than my pom babies if that is even possible!  🙂   Well, maybe the same….LOL

We have some more litters coming, so we should be in full swing in the nursery department this Fall.  Such a fun time to have babies too.

Hope everyone is surviving the heat….at least those of us in the south….I can barely breathe and can’t wait for the first cold front!  Summer is winding down and we are glad.

This is the time we both look forward to and dread…..puppies are beginning to leave for their new homes.  We are so excited for where they are going and the amazing families they are joining, but sad to see them go.  We have had them only a mere 8 weeks at this point, but we are all they have ever known and they truly do love us.  If I didn’t receive such great communication from my new owners, I don’t know how I would do it….thanks so much to all of you who are so diligent to keep me updated with photos and news….so much fun to keep in touch with all of my babies!  🙂

As we are winding down our late Spring litters, we are looking forward to some new litters coming in August and September.  And besides new litters, I am looking forward to Grandbaby #3 coming in the next few weeks too!  Such an exciting time….

I hope you are all enjoying some great summer fun and maybe even a vacation or two.  This is such a fun time to spend with puppies and having a pom accompany you on vacation adds a whole new element….who can ever be in a bad mood with that sweet face always at your side!   🙂
