Wow….I really can’t believe it is 2015.  2014 was just a blur….we married a son and welcomed a new grand baby into our family this year from my daughter….our family is growing! And we are expecting our fourth grand baby in just 8 days from another of my sons…whew!  Starting the year off running!

Our pom family is growing too….I have kept back some extra girls this year and we are excited about adding them to our family.  We are also looking forward to a new little stud arriving shortly after the first of the year.  He is a gorgeous white boy and will be a great addition as our beautiful boy Taz is getting up in age.

I hope today finds all of you ushering in a New Year with new hope, new gratitude and new dreams…may it be a year filled with blessings beyond your imaginations!

Muffin graced us with her beautiful babies this week on 12.11.14.  We were so excited each time she produced a GIRL!  And we were giggling when we realized her entire litter was female….I know…we need to get a life, but after such a run of boys this was such a pleasant surprise!  🙂

She did very well and all of the babies seem to be thriving and doing well.  We have posted a litter picture on the available page and hope to get individual photos up soon.

Whew….what a week it has been!  Most of our puppies have arrived and we have been so blessed with so many beautiful healthy babies.  We lost some pups of Summer’s litter due to some complications during the birth, but one gorgeous little boy made it.  We are still mourning the loss of those babies….it is so hard to lose them.

All of our other litters have been perfect and all of the moms and babies seem to be doing well.  I wish you could see our bedroom.  We have whelping boxes stacked against one wall and the moms are being so great with each other!  Everyone knows where their babies are and we take them out to go potty and when they file back in, they each go to their box.  If one gets a bit too close to their babies, we might hear a little growl, but for the most part everyone of them is so polite!  It is really hysterical to watch.  They are all quite content to just hang with their babies and sleep and nurse and occasionally eat and go potty….I remember those days….LOL  Glad my human babies are grown now!  🙂

We are gearing up for a very busy couple of weeks!  We have several litters due in the next 14 days and Moms are slowing down and getting ready.  Lots of work to make sure everything is ready and whelping boxes are set up and birthing areas are nice and snug and Mom’s are happy…..mostly I have to prepare myself for no sleep and a lot of anxious nights!  LOL  This is always a stressful time as I am constantly on pins and needles wondering if “this is the time”.  You would think that I would have it down by now, but there are just so many things that can happen and absolutely no delivery is ever the same.

Our first little girl, Summer is in pre -labor today and I am expecting that she will deliver within the next day or so.  She is showing all the typical signs and isn’t wanting to come out of her box….I think she is telling me she is close.

I have three girls, Sugar, Racee, and Ziya due next week, so next week will be absolutely crazy!  The nice thing is that we should have some absolutely gorgeous pups and I’m praying that the deliveries will all be without complication and moms and babies will all do fine.  I will be sending out my email update to all on the email list as soon as I know the babies are doing well and then I will start to work on my waiting list.  Those pups not spoken for by those on the waiting list will then be posted as available on my website.

We will be very busy for the next several weeks….throw in the holidays and whew!  It’s a good thing I love what I do….I am truly so excited to have new puppies again.  It has been a really calm Summer/Fall, but I think we are ready now!
