It is with a heavy heart that I have to say we have lost all of Swirl’s babies. Turns out she had three…2 boys and a girl. This was a lot for her first litter and she delivered 9 days early. The babies were perfect and so beautiful, but their lungs were just not developed enough to sustain them….we are so sad. Swirl is sad too…she will be better in a few days.

This week has been so much fun. Rikki and Blossom gave birth to beautiful litters and most importantly of all….without a hitch. I always get so nervous with the moms getting close to labor….and I am always SO relieved when babies are here and everyone is doing so well! We were a little surprised that Blossom only had 2, but they are just as beautiful as they come, so we are very happy.
These babies will all be ready very close to Christmas Day….what a Christmas it will be for some! 🙂

We should have some new babies by the end of the week! Rikki is nesting and staying very close….has all the signs of pre-labor. We are expecting her babies to be born very soon.
Blossom is getting bigger by the day, but not really showing any signs of labor yet. However, we are keeping a very close watch on her. We are so excited! 🙂

Only little “Johnny” is left from our current litters. He is a super sweet and very energetic little black boy with little white paws and some white on his chest. Gorgeous coat coming in and such a lover…I will be updating his photos this week. I can send a short video to anyone seriously interested in him.

Blossom and Rikki are due in just about 2 weeks and are really starting to get big tummies. We will be keeping a close eye on them these next 2 weeks. Rikki is a first time mama and we are so excited about seeing what she will have. I know she will be a great mom!
